PA State Grant and Grow PA Grant Program


Pennsylvania State Grant

Administered by the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency, the PA State Grant is based on financial need. To qualify for the state grant, students must first complete a FAFSA, be a PA resident and be enrolled in at least six credits per semester. The deadline to complete the FAFSA for first time students is August 1 and May 1 for continuing students. Lean more about the PA State Grant Program.

Grow PA Grant Program

Administered by the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency, this program helps students pay for school and builds the workforce in PA for in-demand occupations. There are over 460 eligible programs of study and majors that qualify for this award. Students must be a current resident of Pennsylvania and be enrolled at least half-time to receive this award. Students can receive up to $5,000 per year for the Grow PA Grant Program. After graduation, you must commit to work in Pennsylvania, within the in-demand occupation, for the number of years equal to the number of years in which you received the grant. Foster Care and Other Programs
