Earn College Credit
While Still In High School
Current High School Students
LCCC offers high school students the opportunity to complete college credit. Current high school students who have completed the equivalent of tenth grade may enroll in college credit courses at LCCC. High school students should consult with their high school counselor about guidelines for enrollment. Home-school students must provide proof of filing as a private school or may obtain sign-off from the local public high school the student would normally attend. The local high school must accept home schooling as valid school attendance and determine whether the student has completed coursework sufficient to prepare him or her to take college-level coursework.
Students from the following schools have earned college credit while still in high school just this year:
Many Early College students enroll in online and/or in-person classes offered at LCCC's main campus or dedicated sites. Others take advantage of college courses delivered on the premises of their high school. Whatever the setting, LCCC's Early College program provides a bridge to higher education at a discounted rate.
