While Still In High School
Current High School Students
LCCC offers high school students the opportunity to complete college credit. Current high school students who have completed the equivalent of tenth grade may enroll in college credit courses at LCCC. High school students should consult with their high school counselor about guidelines for enrollment. Home-school students must provide proof of filing as a private school or may obtain sign-off from the local public high school the student would normally attend. The local high school must accept home schooling as valid school attendance and determine whether the student has completed coursework sufficient to prepare him or her to take college-level coursework.
Students from the following schools have earned college credit while still in high school just this year. They attended main campus, dedicated and non-dedicated sites.

Students Who Have Completed High School Early
Students who have successfully completed their high school requirements at the end of the junior year may apply for Early Admission. This is different than our Early College Program. These students must submit an official high school transcript for review and must schedule a personal interview with an Admissions representative. They must submit a letter of permission from their high school principal indicating approval from the Secondary School for consideration for admission. A letter of recommendation from their high school counselor must also be submitted. An admissions committee will assess the qualifications of applicants and notify the students of the admissions decision.
