Description:
In this course, participants will develop the foundational skills necessary to track and analyze business transactions. Participants will gain proficiency in understanding how businesses communicate through financial data and learn how to record and organize these transactions using T accounts, the general journal, and the general ledger. Additionally, you'll explore key accounting processes such as preparing adjustments, managing accounts receivable and payable, and understanding the flow of cash within a business. Participants also learn critical tasks such as balancing accounts, recording daily financial activity, and ensuring accurate financial reporting for a business organization.

Certification:
With the successful completion of this course and the completion of the Fundamentals of Accounting II- Advanced Bookkeeping, participants will be prepared for the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers (NACPB) Bookkeeping certification examination.

Articulated Credit:
Credit can be awarded for ACC-111 Principles of Accounting with the completion of this course and completion of Fundamentals of Accounting II - Advanced Bookkeeping micro-credential upon acceptance into a Luzerne County Community College degree program.

Description:
Building on the fundamentals, this course sharpens the participant's expertise in managing more complex bookkeeping tasks. You'll master payroll processes, including accurate computation and reporting of payroll taxes, while also gaining the ability to work with accruals and deferrals. Participants will further develop their capacity to prepare financial statements, make end-of-period adjustments, and close the books. By the end of this course, participants will be equipped to maintain a business's financial health through the accurate and timely management of records, ensuring compliance and preparedness for audits or financial reviews.

Certification:
With the successful completion of this course and the completion of the Fundamentals of Accounting I- Bookkeeping Essentials, participants will be prepared for the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers (NACPB) Bookkeeping certification examination.

Articulated Credit:
Credit can be awarded for ACC-111 Principles of Accounting with the completion of this course and completion of Accounting I- Bookkeeping Essentials micro-credential upon acceptance into a Luzerne County Community College program.

This course is designed to elevate the participant's existing expertise in QuickBooks Online. Participants will learn to leverage advanced tools to manage complex financial needs. Covered in this course is budgeting, job costing, and multicurrency transactions. The participant will develop skills in handling advanced banking operations, troubleshooting reconciliation issues, and optimizing workflows through automation and bank rules. The course also emphasizes end-of-period procedures, including comprehensive reporting and customized financial analysis. Participants will also learn to tailor QuickBooks Online to meet unique client needs, such as inventory management, and advanced reporting filters.

Certification:
With the successful completion of this course, the completion of the Fundamentals of Accounting I- Bookkeeping Essentials, Fundamentals of Accounting II- Advanced Bookkeeping, and Survey of QuickBooks micro-credentials, participants will be prepared for the Intuit QuickBooks Online Advanced ProAdvisor certification examination.

Credit can be awarded for ACC-121 Applications in Microcomputer Accounting with the completion of this course, Accounting I - Bookkeeping Essentials, Fundamentals of Accounting II- Advanced Bookkeeping, and Survey of QuickBooks micro-credentials upon acceptance into a Luzerne County Community College degree program.
