About Our Program

Our Digital Literacy Training Program is tailored to meet the diverse needs of beginners looking to understand the basics of using technology in the workplace, classroom, or in their personal lives. Through a combination of interactive workshops, hands-on exercises, and expert guidance, we provide a structured curriculum that covers a wide range of digital topics, including:

Computer Fundamentals: Gain familiarity with hardware, software, and operating systems.

Internet Navigation: Learn how to browse the web effectively and safely.

Email Communication: Master the art of email, from composing messages to managing your inbox.

Online Security: Understand the importance of online safety and best practices for protecting your information.

Digital Calendars and Productivity Tools: Organize your life and work using digital calendars and productivity software.

Schedule

In-person instructor led training and open lab hours are available at the Main Campus of LCCC, Nanticoke; building 10, Educational Conference Center; must be pre-registered prior to attending training classes.

Training Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays 10:00-12:00 pm (working with an instructor to build up your basic computer skills)

Open Lab Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays 1:00-4:00 pm and Fridays 10:00-1:00 pm (practice skills learned in training or get individualized support)
