WSFX-FM maintains a close relationship with the student body of LCCC. Live remotes by the WSFX-FM staff are many including: The Welcome Back Bash, 911 Ceremonies, Department Halloween Bash and Spring Finalsfest.

WSFX-FM can often be found giving away the now locally famous WSFX-FM T-shirts on the LCCC campus during calendar days like Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day.

WSFX is celebrating 35+ years of service to the Luzerne County Community College student body and the local community.
