The Educators of Tomorrow will meet on Wednesday 10/16/24 at 1 pm in Building 3, room 312. If you cannot attend in person, please email kzielinski@luzerne.edu to request a Zoom link.

The Psychology Club will be meeting on Thursday, Oct. 17, at 1:15 p.m. in Building 3, Room 312. If you are interested in the club and available, please consider joining us!

We're excited to invite you to the AREI Program and Stay Strong! Student Support Club's 3rd Annual Diamond Project!

Join us for an afternoon of creativity, relaxation, and fun on Tuesday, October 22, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Campus Center, 3rd floor. Enjoy some delicious popcorn as you create and share your artwork and take a break from the stress of classes and exams.

If you are interested in the Stay Strong! Student Support Club, feel free to contact the AREI Program in Building 9, Office 904.

Are you one of those people that are interested in all those weird, seemingly "trivial" questions about life? Do you feel the need to ask "why" or "how is that so" every time a colleague, friend, or family member suggests some seemingly mundane or obvious thought. Philosophy might be the discipline for you, and if so, then you might also be interested in LCCC's Philosophy Club.

Our monthly meeting will be held tomorrow, 10/16 in College Hall, Room 901 for a short, half-hour (possibly a few minutes longer) meeting, but for those who cannot make it, Professor Wasser will be entertaining prospective and current members prior to (and during if need be) his office hours on Thursday, starting at 12:20pm.

Topics to be discussed will be:
-This months special event, the "Philosophy and Film" double-header of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and the 1968 version of "Night of the Living Dead." The date for that is 10/31 starting at 530pm and will run until about 830pm. Please email Prof. Wasser for details

-A short discussion about this semester's book club book, Nietzsche's "The Birth of Tragedy." This book is for members only and does require a club commitment (since Prof. Wasser purchases the books for the club), but non-members are encouraged to stop by and ask questions.
