Hope to see you there!

Thank you to all who have "adopted" a Head Start child this holiday season, but we still have more that need to be sponsored.

The Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences and the Literacy Committee invite faculty, staff, and student clubs to sponsor a child and purchase holiday gifts for them. Stop by the faculty suites in building 3, or email Janis Seeley or Martha Pezzino to sponsor a Head Start child.

We thank you in advance for your generosity and kindness. For many of these children, the gifts you give them will likely be the only Christmas presents these children receive.

We request that you choose your child no later than Tuesday, November 26 and return the wrapped gifts by Monday, December 9 to the Social and Behavioral Sciences Department, Room 319.

The fitness center hours are Monday - Thursday 7a - 7p and
Friday 7a -5p. Unless otherwise posted.

Thank you!!

The Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences and the Literacy Committee invite you to share in the magic of the Holiday Season with the children from our Head Start Program by "adopting" a child for whom to purchase Holiday presents. Faculty, staff, and student clubs can sponsor a child as an individual or as a group.

The ornaments with the information about each child are posted and available in the Social and Behavioral Sciences Department in Building 3, Room 319 beginning on Monday, November 11.

When you choose your child, DO NOT remove the ornament from the wall. Take the photocopy of your child's corresponding ornament out of the corresponding folder on the door - look for either the gingerbread man, the Christmas tree, or the snowflake folder. They are all numbered. Write your name next to the number you chose, next to the file. You can keep the copy from the folder.

If no one is in the office suites when you choose your child, please email either Martha Pezzino at mpezzino@luzerne.edu, or Janis Seeley at jseeley@luzerne.edu.
