Position Title: FT Educational Partnership Specialist

Position Classification: Full-Time Twelve (12) Month Faculty

Minimum Position Qualifications:

Academic Rank: Instructor

  1. Education - Bachelor's Degree is required; Master's Degree preferred.

  2. Experience - Three (3) years of appropriate related work experience; academic advising or teaching experience preferred; programming experience including developing markets and recruiting clients preferred.

  3. Skills - Computer software skills; demonstrated writing, strong organizational and interpersonal skills; background in statistical analysis preferred; demonstrated ability to apply computer skills to tasks including data collection, setting up spreadsheets for statistical reports and retrieval and analysis of data; demonstrated ability to design and implement programming; bilingual preferred.

    Position Responsibilities:

    Working in collaboration with the Articulation Partnership Specialist, the Educational Partnership Specialist supports the College's overall enrollment goals by implementing strategies to support the Early College program, dual admissions, and transfer partnerships with four-year institutions; Acts as a liaison between the College, high schools/districts, educational entities, and four-year colleges for the purposes of recruitment and establishing and maintaining partnerships with local school districts and agencies; Develops and coordinates marketing, recruitment, and outreach activities to facilitate and increase awareness of and participation in all Early College Programs, in collaboration with related College Departments; Informs students, parents/guardians, and College staff of Early College procedures for admissions, enrollment and registration, coordinating events and placement testing if appropriate; Advises students to guide educational choices; Assists students and families with navigating LCCC's policies and procedures to facilitate enrollment and resolve problems as they occur; Engages in proactive outreach and ongoing contact with students to promote retention and matriculation to LCCC, collaborating with Academic Affairs and Center Directors to support enrollment efforts at all locations and ensure student needs are met; Ensures student support structure for each signed agreement is established and communicated to schools, students and families, including but not limited to accessibility services, registration, and tutoring; Acts as primary College advisor for Early College students, actively communicating with high schools to ensure awareness of resources and support services; Maintains, updates and distributes program handbooks, and other resources for high school and faculty teaching early college courses, coordinating with the Articulation Partnership Specialist and College Departments as appropriate; Works with Articulation Partnership Specialist and academic departments to ensure course offerings align with the needs of school districts, students and families; Collaborates with Articulation Partnership Specialist to ensure program timelines and priorities align with both academic and enrollment goals; Works with Articulation Partnership Specialist to coordinate all credit camps for high school students, College Ready initiatives, and career pathway support between educational levels; Assesses programming to facilitate continuous improvement and ensure needs of students and staff are met; Works collaboratively with Institutional Research to report Early College student success data; Tracks Early College funding utilization, grants and scholarships, and completes EITC funding reports in collaboration with Institutional Advancement and in compliance with PA state and donor requirements; Assists with the invoicing of expenses related to program activities and student billing in collaboration with Finance/Business Office; Helps ensure programs meet all relevant accreditation standards and best practices set forth by The Middle States Commission on Higher Education and The National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships; Position requires travel between multiple campuses, off-site and partner locations and requires evening and weekend work hours.

    Entry Salary: $48,168.00/annual

    Standard Work Week: 35 hours
