Luzerne County Community College Nursing Alumni will be holding an All-Class Reunion in honor of 50 years of educating our community. The Library, in collaboration with Luzerne County Head Start, is pleased to announce a roundtable discussion on lead poisoning prevention on August 8 from noon to 1:30pm in the Educational Conference Center, Room 123.

The roundtable will bring together experts in the field to address the critical issue of lead poisoning prevention including health experts and speakers from Luzerne County Head Start, Geisinger, and the Lead Coalition.

This important discussion is in conjunction with the traveling exhibit "This Lead Is Killing Us: A History of Citizens Fighting Lead Poisoning in Their Communities," currently displayed in the LCCC library. The exhibit, produced by the National Library of Medicine and guest curated by historian and educator, Richard M.
