Position Title: FT Administrative Systems Manager/Student Systems

Position Classification: Full-Time Twelve (12) Month Faculty

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  1. Education - Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field such as Computer Science, Information Science, Business Management.

  2. Experience - Two (2) years in applications support and development; including two (2) years technical knowledge and experience in application development, programming, data integrations, reporting, and support of ERP/SIS systems; experience with Ellucian Colleague or other higher-education specific ERP/SIS systems.

  3. Skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to relate and communicate in a positive way to the many constituencies of the College; knowledge of relational databases including SQL Server or Unidata; strong understanding of relationship of software to optimizing business process in providing service to customers; proficient knowledge of Unibasic or other development languages.

    Position Responsibilities:

    Responsible for support, training, development, testing, documentation, and integration of the various administrative software applications of the College. This includes Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/Student Information System (SIS) applications, ancillary business software, data management, cloud-based services and integrations within the College's systems, and various integrations to the College's Learning Management System and websites. Serve as a software analyst supporting the College's various technology systems including but not limited to Admissions, Financial Aid, Registration, Academic records, curriculum management, faculty information, degree audit/student planning, and communications systems including CRM applications; build data integrations across the array of enterprise applications and software to keep information current in the variety of databases; train and assist staff in the use of systems and data management; participate in research, reporting, analysis, proposals and implementations of solutions to improve business processes and functions; manage account creation and security access permissions within applicable systems; work with the College's Infrastructure/Network Operations team in troubleshooting of issues; provide back-up support for Administrative Systems Manager of Finance Systems; perform other related duties assigned; specific duties and responsibilities may vary based upon departmental needs. Work schedule Typically 8:00am to 4:00pm or 9:00am to 5:00pm. Night/weekend work will be required during critical periods such as system upgrades and application outage resolution.

    Entry Salary: $45,402.00/annual

    Standard Work Week: 35 hours
