Position Title: PT Student Financial Account Advisor

Position Classification: Part-Time Administration

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  1. Education - Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business or related field.

  2. Experience - One (1) year experience in student services or a related field.

  3. Skills - Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills; ability to organize, prioritize and problem solve; collaborate with staff; effective listening and assessment skills; computer skills required.

    Position Responsibilities:

    Analyze student accounts for overdue balances; follow up with students on overdue balances; follow up on payment plan non-compliance; work with other departments in resolving student balances; assist and problem solve financial issues presented by students; coach and guide students through administrative and financial barriers; engage in proactive outreach and ongoing contact with students to promote retention; initiate and maintain effective working relationships with counselors, advisors, faculty and administration to facilitate students' understanding of College policies and procedures; maintain accurate and timely data and prepare reports as directed.

    Entry Salary: $22.28/hour

    Standard Work Week: 19 hours
