Position Title: FT Educational Partnership Specialist

Position Classification: Full-Time Twelve (12) Month Faculty

Minimum Position Qualifications:

Academic Rank: Instructor

  1. Education - Bachelor's Degree is required; Master's Degree preferred.

  2. Experience - Three (3) years of appropriate related work experience; academic planning or teaching experience preferred; programming experience including developing markets and recruiting clients; required.

  3. Skills - Computer software skills; demonstrated writing, strong organizational and interpersonal skills; background in statistical analysis preferred; demonstrated ability to apply computer skills to tasks including data collection, setting up spreadsheets for statistical reports and retrieval and analysis of data; demonstrated ability to design and implement programming/courses.

    Position Responsibilities:

    Under the administrative direction of the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs, plans, organizes, and provides support for all functions, activities, and contracts of the Educational Partnerships office, including the Early College program, dual admissions, and transfer partnerships with four-year institutions; support the maintenance of quality and academic standards of all Early College courses in the high schools to ensure courses offered in the high school are the same as the courses offered on the College campus; coordinate all credit camps for high school students, College Ready initiatives, and career pathway support between educational levels; coordinates assigned activities with other College departments; acts as a liaison between the college, high schools/districts, educational entities, and four-year colleges; manages and enforces the terms and conditions of related agreements; responsible for managing Early College course offerings at all locations; ensures student support structure is established for each signed agreement, including but not limited to accessibility services, registration, tutors, and books; serves as a liaison between institutions for course scheduling, curriculum, resources and concerns to assure clear communications and enrollment support; resolves problems raised by faculty and students of the program; provides program information and advising to students, parents and the community aligned with their individual goals; establishes and maintains program timelines and priorities; participates with the coordination of course offerings and ensures faculty coverage for each course in partnership with academic departments; directs and participates in the preparation and maintenance of various narrative, records, and assessment reports; facilitates and coordinates admission, placement testing, registration events between the College and high schools/districts; develops and coordinates marketing, recruitment, and outreach activities to facilitate and enhance knowledge of and participation in all Early College Programs by students in coordination with related college areas; assists with the invoicing of expenses related to program activities; conducts student and staff evaluations for courses and programs offered as needed; position requires travel between multiple campuses, off-site and partner locations and requires evening and weekend work hours.

    Entry Salary: $44,079
